The wiki says that attachments of up to 2mb are permitted - my .ppt is almost 12mbs. I converted it into two .pdfs (one .pdf was still too large), so A-L are part one and M-Z are part two.

Our extraordinary Nicaraguan contact, Raúl, has confirmed that you will receive local cell phones for use while in Nicaragua.

You will need to pre-purchase cards in Granada to make calls. These are very inexpensive, and you can receive calls from others, including international calls. If you lose or damage the phone, you will be required to pay a $25 fee to replace it.

Please remember that cell phones are not to be used for personal calls during any class activity, including volunteering and field excursions. Their main purpose is to keep us in contact with each other when you are at home with your families.

Sí. Las y los estudiantes tendrán celulares de la escuela. El sistema es que funcionan como prepagos. Deben comprar tarjetas si desean hacer llamadas a sus familias en los Estados Unidos pero pueden recibir llamadas de sus familias sin problemas ni costos algunos. Si lo pierden o se daña deben pagar a la escuela $25 para su reposición y así seguir garantizando este servicio gratuito a otros estudiantes.

Do we need to get an adapter for the outlets so that we can use our hair driers, etc., or will the family be providing us with a hair dryer?
